Your PC: The QR Source

Once the SonicPlay Server application is running on your Windows PC, it will automatically generate and display a unique QR code directly on its Home Screen. This QR code acts as a secure, temporary key containing all the necessary network information (like IP address and port) for your Android device to connect.

  • Ensure your SonicPlay PC App is open and visible.
  • Verify that your PC is connected to the same Wi-Fi or LAN network as your Android device.

Your Android: The Scanner

On your Android device, launch the SonicPlay mobile app. Look for the prominent "Scan QR Code" button on the app's initial screen. Tapping this button will activate your phone's camera, ready to read the QR code displayed on your PC.

  • Tap the 'Scan QR Code' button.
